The final leg of the tour takes us to Tampere, Finland for the prestigious biennial Tampereen Sävel (Tampere Vocal Music Festival) whose Artistic Director for 2023 is none other than Kari Turunen. There are many events scheduled throughout our 4-day residency at the festival, the first of which is to act as the “lab choir” for the choir conducting masterclass led by famed Estonian conductor Tõnu Kaljuste:

Tõnu will be joined by teacher-in-residence, Markus Yli-Jokipii, and together they will mentor six advanced choral conducting students from around the world over a two-day period in preparation for a public performance at the festival. ADMISSION IS FREE!
