Immediately after the final concert of the Choir Conducting Masterclass we’ll dash over to Tampere Cathedral for a guest appearance in a concert presented by Somnium Ensemble (from Helsinki) and their conductor, Elisa Huovinen:

Somnium Ensemble will present a program of music entitled Iäisyyteen ikävä on (I long for eternity), with music by composers from Finland, the USA and Canada. The Vancouver Chamber Choir will join them for the final piece on their program, Toivo Kuula’s Meren virsi.
