Jeffrey Chan

Jeffrey Chan graduated with First Class Honors from the Education University of Hong Kong, majoring in Piano, Music Education and Arts Administration. He served as the conductor of EdUHK Chorus, Orchestra, Early Music Ensemble and Recorder Band. Currently, Jeffrey is pursuing a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting at The Pennsylvania State University under the tutelage of Dr. Christopher Kiver and Dr. Kathryn Hylton, where he serves as a graduate teaching assistant. He is also the assistant director of the University Baptist & Brethren Church Sanctuary Choir.

Jeffrey has been awarded various scholarships and honors, including the FLASS Entrance Scholarship, Student Pro-Artist, Dean’s Honour List, Choral Partnership School and Community Project Award.

Recently, he was selected to join conducting masterclasses of the Taipei International Choral Festival, CUHK Chorus and CEO Academy. His conducting teachers include Soma Szabó, T. J. Harper, Shanglun Wu, Paulina Wong, Patrick Chiu, Apollo Wong and Felix Yeung.
